How to Make a Payment

For your convenience, we have set out below the ways to make a payment. In order that the payment can be properly credited to your account, please ensure our reference number (located on the front of any letter you have received above the date) accompanies every payment.

By Computer/Internet

When asked for a reference (for the payment) you MUST ensure you state our reference number.

At a Branch of Barclays Bank

Payments at other banks will not reach your ARC account.

Please complete the payment slip which appears at the bottom of our letter, detach it at the perforation and take it into any branch of Barclays Bank, together with your payment (cheque or cash only). You MUST remember to write our reference number on the payment slip where indicated.

By Telephone

24 Hour Payment Hotline
To make payment at any time of the day without speaking to the call centre, you may pay via our automated payment process by dialling 01332 647 693 and following our secure payment instructions.

ARC Call Centre
To speak to a member of our Team to make a one off payment or recurring payment (known as Continuous Payment Authority) using a debit or credit card, or to pay by Direct Debit, please telephone us on 01932 251 000.

Our Call Centre is open from 8am to 8pm on Monday to Thursday, 8am to 7pm on Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.

Direct Debit Guarantee

This guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay by Direct Debits.

  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit ARC (Europe) Ltd. will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request ARC (Europe) Ltd. to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by ARC (Europe) Ltd. or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when ARC (Europe) Ltd. asks you to.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
